David Schrader is Executive Director Emeritus of the American Philosophical Association.  He holds a B.A. degree from St. Olaf College, a M.T.S. (Master of Theological Studies) from Harvard University, and an M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Massachusetts.  His major areas of philosophical research are ethics, philosophy of religion, and philosophy of science.  Before his term of service with the APA, he taught philosophy for 31 years in Loras College (Iowa), Austin College (Texas), and Washington and Jefferson College (Pennsylvania).
